ArtworxTO is Toronto’s year-long celebration of public art. The City of Toronto retained PROCESS to design an evaluation framework to understand ArtworxTO’s impact as well as the municipality’s long-term financial viability to support public art in the city. The evaluation framework includes original research including intercept interviews, focus groups, and observation studies of public art activations and public spaces. The framework is also informed by an analysis from various data sets across multiple municipal divisions to consider the financial and resource contributions that make up Toronto’s public art programs.
My role in this work was to help develop and implement the evaluation plan including conducting interviews and observational studies. This includes survey design, designing materials for in-person pop-up’s and coordinating site visits.
